Call for Participation

XML Prague 2006 will take place from 17-18 June in Prague, at the Lesser Town Square campus of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. The main topics for this year are XML Native Databases and Querying XML.

Registration is now open and closes on 9th June, re-opening on the day of the conference, 17th June. The on-site registration will be limited by the number of available places.

Expanding on last year's success, there will be a full day of experts speaking with an additional day dedicated for participants to hold related BoF sessions and workshops. Moreover, a special block of lighting talks will be organized which give participants a chance to exchange and present ideas.

If you are attending the conference and would be interested in participating, consider the following list:

  • BoF (Birds of a Feather) session: Arrange small group of individuals using similar set of technologies (ex. Perl XML, Python XML, XSLT, etc...) to discuss and trade techniques.
  • Workshops: Arrange for a more formal agenda with speakers and presentation.
  • Lightening Talk: Submit a short 5 minutes presentation , 'poster' style for general discussion.
