How to Submit

All submissions must be done using the conference management system available at the https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/XML2010/

If you have never used this system before for other conferences, you will have to sign-up first and create new account for yourself. After logging onto conference management system you will be able to submit your paper and edit this submission before deadline. All submission must be in DocBook XML format (more information below). You can submit single XML file or ZIP file with main XML file and auxiliary files like images.

All submissions must be in English and paper should not exceed 15 pages in length. This is approximate limit as final page count depends on formatting style we will apply.

DocBook XML format

All submission must be valid DocBook XML documents using <article> element as a root. You can use either version 4.x or 5.0 of DocBook. DocBook documentation and schemas can be found on http://docbook.org site.

If you are not familiar with DocBook we recommend using editors with DocBook support. One such good editor is oXygen (http://www.oxygenxml.com/). You can get trial version for free and it allows you to edit DocBook documents in both source and visual form.

Another option is for example personal edition of XMLmind XML Editor (http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/persoedition.html).

For inspiration you can look into sample DocBook template (article-template.xml).

Please make sure that your document is well-formed and valid before submission!

Preparing for presentation:

You can find time and length of your presentation in program. Please plan your presentation 5-10 minutes shorter so there is enough time for questions after your talk.

Posters

If you are presenting poster bring printed poster with you and put it on prepared poster boards anytime from Saturday morning, but not later then during Sunday lunch.
